Sheaffer ( Connaisseur) Asia Series -Bamboo Royal Selangor Fountain Pen ( 18kt Fine Nib)

This unused pen was made in 1987 ( the only production year) as a joint product made in conjunction with Royal Selango which is the world's foremost name in pewter design. The 18 kt two tone nib is inscribed " made in USA". Note on the original outer box it says stub nib but on the nib section F is embossed so enclosed is a close up photo of the nib confirming the fine designation. This pen was purchased new May 4, 2006 and kept in climate controlled storage since. The pen is similar in size to the Connaisseur line and with production limited to just 1987 many consider the Sheaffer Bamboo a limited edition. The pewter barrel and cap are most unusual with an elegant bamboo design throughout.
